Unparalleled ease of use and field of vision in a visor helmet<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAtomic formulated strict requirements for the unique connection between the visor and the helmet. An ideal visor should offer an unobstructed field of vision combined with intuitive operation in all conditions. It must be a perfect fit for different facial shapes while mimicking the versatility of goggles. During the process, countless ideas and concepts were exchanged between npk design and the experts at Atomic. Promising new concepts were tested on various helmet prototypes and examined by Atomic for ease of use and reliability. The agile process, underlined by quick prototyping and testing, enabled us to filter the most promising ideas. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe design of the visor mechanism actually influenced the design of the helmet itself. How can the visor and moving parts be integrated, how much space is required for this, and how do these parts produce an attractive whole? The entire process was implemented at a fast pace in a hybrid model based on continuous digital exchange and multiple hands-on workshops with active co-creation. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Product development in a hybrid physical-digital environment<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

To facilitate the digital and physical working environment, we used a hybrid design method: helmet shapes and visor integration were explored in sketches and clay models, which were then scanned and converted into CAD models. In iterative feedback loops with Atomic, we refined the shape of the helmet, creating a product that not only meets the functional and manufacturable requirements but also embodies the powerful design language of the renowned Atomic brand. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
